Letter to our Customers
March 17th 2020

At Splash Shack, our mission is to provide our community with the safest environment for family fun. In following the guidelines of the CDC and our local authorities, we have chosen to close our waterpark as of 3pm March 16th, in an attempt to contribute towards stopping the spread of COVID-19. Our waterpark is family owned and this decision has been very difficult since it affects our wonderful employees and the option for a year-round water experience to the children of our community. All of our families that have events booked in the next two weeks will be contacted in the coming days. Thank you for your passionate support to Splash Shack and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this might cause. We continue to monitor closely the instructions of the Federal and Local Government and its agencies to reopen as quickly as we possibly can. Please subscribe to our social media outlets and email for the latest information about our Kids Indoor Waterpark.

COVID-19 Statement
March 15th 2020

Splash Shack cares about your health and safety. Your family’s comfort and safety are our first priorities. We daily provide a clean sanitized fun environment for our Splasher Families. Our above standard water turnover ratios, automated chlorination, state-of-the-art filtration and UV systems keep the water well chlorinated and clean at all times. We are implementing all of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) additional preventive measures to our rigorous cleaning standards and procedures.

The World Health Organisation has recommended a concentration of chlorine in drinking water, together with how long it needs to act (‘contact time’) so that dangerous germs are killed. Splash Shack not only complies with this standard but exceeds them to further improve the safety of our Splashers. They were asked “If drinking water supplies or swimming pools are being chlorinated in accordance with current recommendations / best practice is this sufficient to inactivate COVID-19 virus?” And the Answer was ” Yes – adherence to current recommended disinfection practice is sufficient to inactivate COVID-19 virus in chlorinated drinking water and swimming pools.” (Source – EHS Water O.U. Advice note to EHS on COVID-19 in chlorinated drinking water supplies and chlorinated swimming pools Version 3 5 March 2020)

Our park will continue to operate every day during Spring Break to be your cleanest option for Family Fun in Central Texas. We are open and ready to serve you.
